History:
Angel is a 13 year old boy living in Soledad, Atlántico; diagnosed with cerebral palsy. His mother tells us that when he was born, at first glance he looked like a healthy baby and the doctors did not notice anything out of the ordinary, however, when he turned one year old, his mother noticed that Angel’s movement was very limited, rare in children his age. Intrigued by this, his mother decided to consult with her pediatrician, who after performing a series of tests concluded that Angel de Jesus had cerebral palsy.
Angel’s mother decided to apply to our palliative care program through our website. When we received the application, we were ready to help immediately, with all the desire and good faith that characterizes our foundation; we provided a neurological wheelchair to improve Angel’s posture and help with his transportation, mitigating the impact of living with these special conditions, and in turn, greatly improving Angel’s quality of life and that of his family.
